As a replacement for the native Palm OS launcher, Propel makes using your mobile companion a truly enjoyable experience. Not only is it fast, but it also provides many opportunities to personalize your Views and functionality through extensive support of User Interface Skins, custom backgrounds, and button assignments. Plus, Voice Launching is available. Once you start using Propel, you'll wonder how you ever did without it.

Version 2.2 includes new features such as support for contact pictures, option to assign custom icons to applications, support for category icons and related integration with Icon Manager. Various improvements are included as well, most notably an overall rework of memory management aimed to enhance performance and stability.

Find Everything Easily With Propel, you don't need to endlessly scroll to locate and open applications, take multiple steps to search for contacts, or fumble to find your newest memo. With just one tap or the input of one keyword, Propel filters out/narrows down the possibilities for you.

Organized Landing View Propel offers a variety of ways to display your landing view for search optimization. To browse programs or contacts, choose the Applications or Contacts view. This way, scrolling is reduced and only the files of interest are made available to you. For specific searches, do a keyword look-up through the Power User view. The Power User view collectively lists all your files together for a comprehensive search throughout data such as applications, contacts, memos and bookmarks. Each view can be seen in list or icon mode for a compact or expanded snapshot of everything present on your Treo smartphone or handheld device.

Customization and Integration at your Fingertips Version 2 offers a number of new features centered around extensions, and external applications support. Per view based backgrounds, skins and plugins support make Propel the true "command center" of your Treo. Additionally, in Version 2 you'll find indispensable, time-saving features such as the "Underline As You Type" capability, Left-handed usage support, Per-View background, Text Color and Status Indicator selection, just to name a few. • Always Present Toolbar - On the bottom of each screen is a convenient toolbar that enables you to navigate quickly through the most frequently used applications. You can change between different views, go to Favorites, Beam data, Move items to Main Memory or Memory Card, and send items to Trash with just one tap of your stylus.
• Favorites List - Find and access most used items quickly by adding them to your Favorites list.
• Category Tabs - Propel organizes items into different Category Tabs so you can quickly find anything just by glancing at your screen. You can drag and drop items into categories to manually organize them. You can also add, edit, or hide categories such as Games, Utilities, Multimedia, etc.
• Drag and Drop - Propel offers complete organization through Drag and Drop. Drag and Drop any files you want deleted, beamed, moved to Main Memory or Memory Card, moved to a different Tab, added to Favorites and more.
• Voice Launching - With the Professional Edition of Propel, you can Voice Launch any item on your device (so anything you can launch by hand you can do by voice). You can also Voice Launch applications that reside on your SD card, Bookmarks, MP3s, emails, Memos, Contacts, SMS and more. Furthermore, you can Voice Dial a friend from your Contact list. Play your favorite MP3s with both hands free. Browse through your Calendar or a Favorite Website. Whatever it is, you can Voice command it.
• Preferences - Propel offers a wide array of customization options. Under Preferences, you can change your views, determine how your files are displayed, which software to open specific files with, add or delete favorites, and much more.
• Skins - You can customize Propel's look by getting skins that match your taste. There are a variety of skins available - from sleek, sharp, metallic skins to flowery or minimalist designs - to fit your lifestyle. In the new Version 2, you can even adjust skin transparencies so Propel views can be read more easily.
