Quickipedia for Palm OS

"This is a great way to access Wikipedia on your Treo. It is a stand alone application, and articles download MUCH faster than they do in the browser. The only thing is it doesn`t show graphics or pictures, but the treatment of text and the content is excellent. I use Quickipedia at least a dozen times a day to look up facts about all kinds of questions which come to mind. Often the answers lead to links about other related facts.It turns my Treo in to an excellent learning tool."

"I`ve tried to use Wikipedia on my Treo several times, but it would never display right. Quickipedia solves this problem by providing a front end, a simple interface allowing you to enter either an article title or a subject search term. It then downloads the Wikipedia article and formats it for your handheld. It does not display non-Roman languages, and doesn`t handle nonexistent articles well. But as a basic tool to access Wikipedia, it`s well worth the price."
