This version of MobileDB includes the MobileDB-Excel plug-in to create and modify data lists with Microsoft Excel for Windows. Then view, sort, filter, edit, share and manage the lists with MobileDB on your Palm OS device.

With MobileDB4 you can store and access MobileDB databases on your SD/MMC or Memory Stick expansion slot and even set your color preferences for rows and headers.

Utilize the 7 data types including text, number, sequence, date, time, checkbox or list to ensure your data is properly formatted and sorted. Using MobileDB4 you can export your date-related records to the Date Book and address records to the Address Book.

Use MobileDB4 with PrintBoy to wirelessly print your entire MobileDB database or selected records to your infrared-enabled or Bluetooth printer.

This version of MobileDB includes MobileDB-Excel, a plug-in to Microsoft Excel. Use MobileDB-Excel to create and modify MobileDB data directly in Microsoft Excel for Windows. Export the entire worksheet just the selected cells to a MobileDB database and install it on your Palm OS device. Import a MobileDB database into excel the modify the information and export it back to your device. MobileDB-Excel requires Microsoft Excel 95, 98, 2000 or XP on the Windows operating system.

Email data type When viewing a record containing an Email data type, tap the Email field and launch the default email client. A new email document is created and the To: field is populated with the contents of the email field.

Phone data type When viewing a record containing a Phone data type, tap the Phone field and initiate the dialer on a phone capable device.

Web Address data type When viewing a record containing a Web Address data type, tap the Web Address field and launch the default web browser. The address contained in the Web Address field is loaded into the browser window.

Database Download The Database Download feature provides the ability to wireless download databases from www.memoware.com. The interface allows you to enter in search strings and specify categories. The results of the search are displayed in a list and you then have the ability to specify which databases to download to your device.
